Kellogg on Fox News: “Putin is right, NATO is waging a proxy war against Russia”.
U.S. Special Envoy for Ukraine Keith Kellogg stated in an interview with Fox News that Russian President Vladimir Putin “is not wrong in claiming that NATO is waging a proxy war against Moscow”.
“Putin clearly sees this as a proxy war by NATO, and frankly, in a way, it is,” Kellogg said, commenting on the increasing European military support to Ukraine, including Germany’s potential delivery of long-range Taurus cruise missiles.
Kellogg also revealed that, following meetings with European representatives in London, a 22-point document was drafted, proposing a comprehensive ceasefire “in the air, on land, and at sea”. However, he noted that neither side involved in the conflict was fully satisfied with the proposal.
Meanwhile, the debate over Western arms supplies continues to escalate. Back in November 2024, during the CSTO summit, President Putin reiterated that the use of Western long-range weapons on Russian territory would amount to NATO’s direct involvement in the conflict.
